Description
A rich, creamy, and low-carb strawberry coffee drink made with heavy cream and frozen berries. This keto-friendly frappuccino is ready in 5 minutes and tastes like a cafe treat without the sugar crash.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ cups frozen strawberries (about 200g)
- 1 cup brewed coffee, chilled
- ¼ cup heavy cream (36% fat)
- ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk or macadamia milk
- 1–2 tablespoons monk fruit sweetener (blended with erythritol)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ½ cup ice (optional, if berries aren’t frozen enough)
- 2–3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream (for topping)
- 2–3 sliced strawberries (for garnish)
- Sugar-free dark chocolate shavings (optional)
Instructions
- Ensure the brewed coffee is completely chilled. If in a hurry, place it in the freezer for 10 minutes.
- Add frozen strawberries, chilled coffee, heavy cream, milk, sweetener, and vanilla to a high-speed blender.
- Blend on low speed to break up the fruit, then gradually increase to high. Blend for 30-60 seconds until the mixture is thick, slushy, and smooth.
- In a separate small bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream with a teaspoon of vanilla and a pinch of sweetener until soft peaks form.
- Pour the blended frappuccino into a tall glass.
- Spoon the whipped cream on top.
- Garnish with sliced strawberries and optional chocolate shavings.
- Serve immediately with a wide straw.
Notes
Keep all ingredients cold to maintain texture. Use frozen berries instead of ice to avoid dilution. If using a weaker blender, add liquid first then frozen fruit. Whipped cream requires cold cream, bowl, and beaters.
