Ingredients
Scale
- 2 shots espresso or 1/3 cup (80ml) strong coffee
- 1 cup (240ml) milk (whole milk preferred, or almond/oat/plant-based milk)
- 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup
- 2 tablespoons caramel sauce
- 1 to 1 1/2 cups ice cubes
Instructions
- Brew two shots of espresso or 1/3 cup (80ml) of strong coffee or cold brew concentrate.
- Pour 1 cup (240ml) of cold milk into a glass or container and stir in 2 tablespoons of vanilla syrup until combined.
- Fill the glass with 1 to 1 1/2 cups of ice cubes.
- Pour the sweetened milk over the ice, then slowly pour the espresso or strong coffee on top to create layers.
- Drizzle about 2 tablespoons of caramel sauce over the top.
- Gently stir before drinking to blend the flavors.
Notes
Make your own vanilla syrup by dissolving equal parts sugar and water with vanilla extract for fresher taste. Warm caramel sauce slightly before drizzling for smoother consistency. Use cold milk and pour espresso slowly to create layers. Try coffee ice cubes to avoid dilution. Adjust sweetness to taste.
