Description
Quick and easy crispy pizza rolls made in the air fryer with crescent roll dough, marinara sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. Perfect for a fast, kid-approved snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can crescent roll dough (about 8 ounces / 225g)
- ½ cup marinara sauce (120ml)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (113g)
- 20–25 pepperoni slices
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
- Olive oil spray or cooking spray
- Optional add-ins: ½ cup chopped bell peppers, mushrooms, or olives
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine marinara sauce, shredded mozzarella, pepperoni slices, and Italian seasoning. Add optional veggies if desired and stir to mix evenly.
- Unroll crescent roll dough onto a clean surface. Cut dough into 8 equal squares using a sharp knife or kitchen scissors.
- Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the filling onto the center of each dough square. Fold dough over to form a pocket and pinch edges firmly to seal. Twist edges for extra security.
- Preheat air fryer to 370°F (188°C) for 3 minutes. Lightly spray or brush pizza rolls with olive oil. Place rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket without touching.
- Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy. Let cool 2-3 minutes before serving with extra marinara sauce.
Notes
Do not overfill rolls to prevent bursting. Seal edges firmly and optionally poke a small hole on top to release steam. Use fresh shredded cheese for best melting. Air fryer crisps rolls without drying filling. Leftovers can be reheated in air fryer at 350°F for 3-4 minutes. Do not freeze assembled rolls.
